GETTING STARTED
To successfully sell items on GotAegyo, simply follow these tips:
1. Create a trusted profile
· Add your profile picture and verify your account to show your identity.
· Write about you or your store description
2. List your items
· Categories are all set-up so you can just use them.
· Add clear and nice photos of the item. If it’s an item by a well-known brand, add important aspects to show its authenticity. Official merchandises’ status must be stated in the description.
· Be specific and honest in the item's description and select the correct parcel size. You are fully responsible of your item’s description.
· Remember that listing has no fees, and uploading more items can help you sell faster.
· Make sure that your shop abides by GotAegyo’s policies such as the non-discrimination rules.
Note:
Once you upload an item, it will get screened automatically for a standard check to make sure it follows our catalogue rules and guidelines for selling. Normally, it takes up to 1 minute but, in some cases, it may take up to 24 hours.
3. Whilst waiting for buyers
· Get noticed – you can BOOST your items to raise your store’s visibility.
· Set a discount for bundles: to encourage customers to buy more items from you.
· Enable SHIPPING options to your buyers. The more shipping options, the faster your items are likely to sell.
Important:
Stay on GotAegyo throughout your whole selling process — from communicating to receiving your payment. This way we will be able to trace in case something goes not the way you expected.
Respect the intellectual property of others. If you feel someone has violated your intellectual property rights son GotAegyo, please report it to us.
4. SOLD!! Time to ship
· Pack your item. A personal touch is always nice.
· Ship the item within 5 working days of the sale.
· Check and use the shipping option your buyer has chosen to avoid any issues with parcel tracking or even cancelled orders.
· Make sure you can prove you’ve shipped the item to the buyer.
5. Delivered! Get your earnings and leave feedback
· Your payment will automatically be sent to your chosen means of payment. Stripe and PayPal may take 10 days to pay for the first transaction. However and succeeding payment will be immediate.
· In the event of dispute, you will be responsible to refund your buyers.
· Leave feedback to your buyer and help to build trust within the community.
Good to know
· If you ever experience any improper behaviour, harassment or spam activities from other members, report it so we can immediately put a stop to it.

- Fashion accessories such as jewellery, hats, sunglasses or other functional gadgets
- Small tech accessories such as lightsticks, phone case, smartwatches, earphones, headphones, griptoks
- Key chains, photocardholders, etc
- Home accessories such as small lamps, pillows, stuffed toys
Albums
- Kpop albums sealed or unsealed, or new and used
Beauty
- Cosmetics, perfume, skin care as endorsed or used by kpop idols
Clothing
- Women’s, men’s, children
Group Order
- Any items released by official kpop groups, distributors stores that may be albums, photocards, birthday merchandise etc
Collectibles
- Collectibles are items that have only been released once or no duplicates and maybe signed polaroids, stuffed toys etc.
Fan Art*
- Any item that’s made by fans such as drawings, sculpture, paintings, photography that is originally made by fans and not replicated from original owner.
Fan Made*
- Items such as accessories, clothing etc made by fans.
* Any copyright issues are between the sellers, makers, original owners and buyers. GotAEGYO is not responsible for patent, trademark or copyright issues.
STUFF YOU’RE NOT ALLOWED TO SELL
- Lewd fanart or fanmade items with nudity or mature content
- Unsafe or unhygienic items - Items that poses risks to one’s health such as used cosmetics, underwear bottoms, bedding, towels, or used earrings
- Dangerous items (hazardous material, weapons)
- Hate items: items promoting, supporting or glorifying hate and discimination
- Any item that is illegal to sell in the United Kingdom and European Union
BEFORE LISTING:
- Make sure your items are clean and safe especially small tech accessories. Make sure they are not damaged as damaged electrical devices are health and safety risk.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
The Sellers are responsible for providing shipping options.
How it works:
- The Buyer pays for shipping at the checkout
- The Seller is responsible to ship the items purchased and will use their own money to ensure delivery.
- The Seller is repaid for the shipping costs by GotAegyo once the transaction is completed successfully.
Depending on the service requested, the Seller provides the tracking number if applicable.
HOW THE PAYMENT WORKS
1. When a Buyer makes a purchase, they pay for the item price and shipping costs.
2. The payment gateways hold the funds (PayPal or Stripe)
3. The Seller will receive pay-out depending on the Vendor Plan they have chosen. In the event a Seller does not register their PayPal or Stripe Accounts, the earnings will be stored in a secured wallet called GotAegyo Balance*.
4. The order will be shipped by the Seller
5. The Buyer receives the item(s)
*GotAegyo Balance is a secure wallet is automatically opened when the Seller:
Did not sign-up for PayPal and/or Stripe or used the Standard Vendor Plan. Your earnings received from all sold items including shipping fee will then go to the Accounting section of the platform and where you can view and request for withdrawals.
SELLER’S STANDARD
By listing an item on GotAegyo, you understand and agree that you are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulation for the item you listed. We do not take any responsibility for the accuracy, labeling or content of your listings.
By selling on GotAegyo, you agree to respect:
- the deadlines for shipping, honour all dispatching and processing times.
- your Buyers and refrain from harassment or discrimination on all the platform
- the refund and cancellation policies including the United Kingdom and European Union right of withdrawal
DISPUTES BETWEEN GotAegyo AND USERS
In the event of a disagreement between GotAegyo and a user, GotAegyo encourages users to reach out to Sellers first in any case to find an amicable solution. If the Buyer raises an issue, we will mediate a fair and reasonable outcome for all. If the payment (aka pay-out) to the Seller has already been processed, and if the case is favourable to the buyer, the seller will refund the buyer. If the payment is still with PayPal or Stripe, they will keep the payment safe in the meantime.
In the event of failed agreement, the user may:
· address a written complaint to GotAegyo’s user support by emailing support@gotaegyo.com
· GotAegyo will use its best endeavours to try and resolve the user's complaint in an amicable manner
